27912-03-2101_07_49ABOUT GEM TWIST:  Gem Twist (by Good Twist x Coldy Noble) is a grey Thoroughbred Grand Prix jumper gelding.  His incredible career began in 1987 where he was named the AGA Horse of the Year with rider Greg Best, won three major Grand Prix competitions and earned the Pan American Games Team Silver Medal.

In 1988, and Greg Best won both the Individual and Team Silver Medals at the Olympics in Seoul, Korea. In 1989, they were again named AGA Horse of the Year, and earned more Grand Prix wins at major competitions. In 1990, Gem Twist was named “World’s Best Horse” at the World Equestrian Games in Stockholm, Sweden.

He went on to win many more major Grand Prix competitions with Greg Best, Leslie Howard and Laura Chapot. Gem Twist was retired from competition at the National Horse Show in Madison Square Garden on November 1, 1997. Gem Twist’s cloned stallion “Gemini” was born in 2009.  Gem Twist is available for breeding through the cloned stallion, Gemini.
